Alishia Ortiz, MA, LPC

She/Her

As a licensed therapist, I help adolescents and adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, evidence-based care, and practical strategies for meaningful change. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences, building on their strengths, and developing tools to better manage challenges and achieve their goals. I believe that every person has the ability to heal, grow, and create positive change in their life.

I work with adolescents, adults, families and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is individualized and eclectic, drawing from evidence-based therapies including DBT, TF-CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and ESFT. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside each client to identify their unique needs and develop strategies that feel practical and effective. I also incorporate play therapy when appropriate, as it can be a valuable approach in helping younger clients express themselves, process emotions, and work toward their goals.

Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
